1.      Make sure paper is loaded in the main tray, and then turn on the printer.

2.      If you want to print web content, such as an email or cloud-based document, open the item before proceeding with these steps.

3.      On the computer, click the Wi-Fi icon https://kaas.hpcloud.hp.com/PROD/v2/renderbinary/2812564/1648044/con-genprint-p-printer-setup-wifi-network/wifi-icon-chrome-blue-inline, and then select your printer with DIRECT in the name.

4.      If prompted, enter the Wi-Fi Direct password, and then click Connect.

5.      Return to the main settings menu, and then click Settingshttps://kaas.hpcloud.hp.com/PROD/v2/renderbinary/2812564/1365760/con-genprint-p-printer-setup-wifi-network/gear-settings-icon-gear-outline-inline-2.

6.      Scroll to the bottom of the screen, and then click Advanced.

7.      Under the Printing section, click Printers, and then click Add Printer.

8.      Select your printer, and then click Add.

9.      Open the item you want to print, click the Chrome browser settings icon https://kaas.hpcloud.hp.com/PROD/v2/renderbinary/2812564/1365222/con-genprint-p-printer-setup-wifi-network/menu-three-vertical-dots-black-inline, and then select Print.

10.  Select your printer, and then click Print.

11.  After the print job completes, open your Wi-Fi network menu, and then reconnect to your local network.
